Jelgavas novada pašvaldība announces a competition for the position of Social Worker at the Social Work Department of the Social Affairs Administration of Jelgavas novada (state official position)
Key job duties:
organize or provide clients with necessary social services or social assistance;
identify and engage necessary resources in addressing social cases, in accordance with the specifics of social work in various practice areas;
develop social rehabilitation/recovery plans in accordance with identified social problems and needs.
Requirements for applicants:
1. second-level professional higher or academic education in social work or charitable social work;
2. ability to apply regulatory acts;
3. ability to prepare reports and response letters;
4. good skills in working with MS Office programs;
5. ability to work in a team;
6. ability to communicate with people;
7. desirable: one year of work experience in social work;
8. desirable: category B driver's license.

professional activities description (CV);
copy of document certifying education;
motivation letter.
