Jelgavas valstspilsētas pašvaldības iestāde "Jelgavas sociālo lietu pārvalde" (90001042284) is hiring a social worker for the Rehabilitation Department. Key job responsibilities: conduct social work with adult individuals; provide professional and quality support in addressing social issues; manage and document social case processes; plan, organize, and ensure social services in accordance with client needs; identify resource networks and secure necessary resources; assess clients' functional abilities; develop inter-institutional and inter-professional collaboration; work with the municipal social assistance and social services administration application (SOPA). Requirements for candidates: 1. Required education: 1.1. first-cycle higher education in social work or charitable social work, or student of the respective study program who has completed at least 180 credit points in a full-time program or at least 162 credit points in a part-time program, or 1.2. student of a first-cycle higher education study program in social work or charitable social work who has completed at least 120 credit points in a full-time program or at least 108 credit points in a part-time program, or 1.3. second-cycle higher education in social work or charitable social work, or student of the respective study program who has completed at least 60 credit points in a full-time program or at least 54 credit points in a part-time program; 2. State language proficiency at C level, 1st degree; 3. good skills in working with Microsoft Office applications; 4. ability to work independently and in a team; 5. good communication, collaboration, and argumentation skills; 6. ability to plan and organize your work.
