announces an open competition for a Social Worker position in the Support Department for Adults in Kandava City, Kandava and Cēres parishes (fixed-term, 1 position):
Requirements for Candidates:
- First-cycle higher education in social work or charitable social work, or student status with sufficient acquired credit points (full-time 120 CP, part-time 108 CP) to independently perform job duties;
- Good skills in working with computers, information systems and programs; and other office equipment (scanner, copier);
- Ability to plan, manage and organize your work, ability to clearly and substantively express your opinion;
- Ability to make independent decisions, ability to withstand increased emotional stress; openness to innovation; excellent communication and collaboration skills;
- Work experience in social work will be considered an advantage;
- Mandatory "B" category driver's license.
Main Job Duties:
- Provide social work with persons with functional and mental disorders, disabilities, seniors, persons with addiction problems, victims of violence, long-term unemployed, long-term social assistance recipients and other target groups of adults;
- Organize and provide residents with necessary social services and social assistance;
- In addressing social cases, identify and engage necessary resources, respecting the specifics of social work in various practice areas;
- Work with the unified social assistance administration electronic system SOPA and document management system Lietvaris.
