Dienvidkurzemes novada pašvaldība (r.n.90000058625) Dienvidkurzemes novada Sociālais dienests is hiring a social care worker for a full-time position Work location: Group apartment "Sudrabi", Rucava, Dienvidkurzemes novads Requirements for candidates: Level 1 professional higher education (social care worker qualification); excellent communication skills; adherence to professional ethics principles and confidentiality in your work; ability to respond appropriately in unforeseen situations; ability to plan and organize your work, working both independently and as part of a team. Main responsibilities: help clients improve existing and develop new self-care and social skills (meal preparation, budget planning, use of information and communication technologies, etc.); plan and conduct practical activities in group apartments (including safety, health, and meaningful leisure activities, etc.), providing necessary assistance and support to group apartment clients (adults with intellectual disabilities); help organize various activities and events for clients and participate in them; develop activity methods appropriate to the client's abilities and health condition and in accordance with clients' social rehabilitation plans; in cooperation with the social worker, assess clients' self-care and basic need provision capabilities and implement rehabilitation plans, etc. We offer: stable compensation and social guarantees; opportunities for professional development, acquiring new knowledge and experience; further education and qualification upgrade training.
