Dienvidkurzemes novada Sociālais dienests (reg. no. 90000058625) invites applications for a social care worker on a full-time basis Work location: Group apartment "Sudrabi", Rucava, Dienvidkurzemes Municipality Requirements for candidates: Level 1 professional higher education (social care worker qualification); excellent communication skills; adherence to professional ethics principles and confidentiality in work; ability to respond appropriately in unexpected situations; ability to plan and organize work independently and in a team. Main responsibilities: assist clients in improving existing and acquiring new self-care and social skills (meal preparation, budget planning, use of information and communication technologies, etc.); plan and conduct practical activities in group apartments (including safety, health, and meaningful leisure activities, etc.), providing necessary assistance and support to group apartment clients (adults with intellectual disabilities); assist in organizing various activities and events for clients and participate in them; develop activity methodology according to client capabilities and health status and in accordance with clients' social rehabilitation plans; work with social workers to assess clients' self-care and basic needs provision capabilities and implement rehabilitation plans, etc..
