announces a competition for a vacant SOCIAL CARE WORKER position
Main job responsibilities:
- Plan and organize the provision of social care services to clients at an individual level, in accordance with the client's abilities, needs and wishes;
- Participate in the development, implementation and improvement of the client's social care plan in accordance with identified problems;
- Assess and determine the set of social care services;
- Promote client participation in receiving optimal social care services;
- Coordinate the work of care workers, evaluate the performance of care workers;
- Regularly make entries in client files regarding client social care planning, provision and evaluation;
- Periodically (no less than once per year) prepare a development report for each client receiving care and submit it to the social worker;
- Promote clients' social activity;
- Promote the maintenance of clients' social skills and the acquisition of new skills;
- Support clients' social activities by helping them maintain an active lifestyle;
- Document the social care process.
Requirements for applicants:
- Education: first level higher professional education and a social care worker qualification;
- Desired experience in social work;
- Language skills: Latvian - advanced level;
- Ability to make decisions promptly and constructively and show initiative;
- Ability to work in a team;
- Knowledge of MS Office standard software, electronic correspondence, and internet environment.
