Our structures for collegial collaboration are well-established with scheduled subject time each week, and there is a school culture of doing things together and helping one another. Starting this fall, we will be eliminating our local agreement and returning to working 35+10.

RESPONSIBILITIES
This is a position for someone who wants to teach all four social studies subjects. You will be part of a subject team with highly competent and experienced colleagues in your subjects. As a teacher, you plan, conduct, and follow up on your instruction according to the curriculum Lgr22. You create inspiring learning environments where students can explore and develop their knowledge within the subject. You become part of a work team with professional and engaged educators. The work team includes four classes for which you are responsible for social studies instruction.
As a teacher with us, you hold the role of classroom teacher for one class, which you share with two other colleagues. At the school, we have full-time mentors who work with student welfare issues and their knowledge development at both group and individual levels, in collaboration with teachers.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone with a teaching degree and teaching certification with eligibility to teach social studies subjects, grades 7-9. Alternatively, you have ongoing studies that will be completed shortly. It is a merit if you have previous experience teaching in educational settings, from work or student teaching practice. We also view positively experience teaching according to the current curriculum. The position requires that you have very good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written, and that you feel comfortable using IT as part of your instruction.
