Engelska Skolan Novia Engelska Skolan Novia was founded in 2010 and is an independent primary school (grades F-9). The school is part of the organization Engelska Skolor och Förskolor AB, which currently employs 220 people across three primary schools and four preschools. We offer our students a high-quality bilingual education that follows the Swedish national curriculum. We focus on teaching mathematics and science in English. Our pedagogy is characterized by a sustainable approach where we work to help each student realize their full potential both academically and as a person. Engelska Skolan Novia has approximately 350 students and is located in Årstadal. Who are we looking for? A social studies teacher with certification for grades 7-9 in one or more of the social studies subjects (history, religion, civics, geography). The Role We want a teacher who builds their instruction on close pedagogical relationships with students and who is passionate about meeting each student's individual development based on their experiences, prior knowledge, and abilities. The position includes mentoring responsibilities that you will share with a colleague. We want you to work with language development and be open to collaboration with colleagues to provide students with a clearer holistic education. The foundation of the role is to plan and deliver social studies instruction for grades 6-9. A colleague teaches social studies in grade 7. This is a part-time position at 80%. What do we offer?
