Want to spend the winter with us? About the Position As a snow maker, you will work with producing artificial snow on all of our runs. A snow-making season typically runs from November to January but depends on temperature; after that, there may be opportunities for other work at Kläppen to extend the season. Seasonal employment with salary according to agreement. Job Responsibilities As a snow maker, you work in pairs and your shifts cover all hours of the day and night. The work is physically demanding but very fun and educational. Snow production consists of moving snow cannons, hoses, and working with pressurized equipment, as well as monitoring snow-making temperature, air, and wind conditions. Qualifications To apply as a snow maker, you should enjoy working outdoors with active movement, have good physical condition, and preferably be technically skilled. You should be comfortable working both independently and in a team, be resourceful, and have an interest in technology.
