Fahlströms Bygg was founded in 1982 and is a company that operates a combined building materials store and carpentry business. The store is located in the center of Valsjöbyn and is a varied retail shop selling products in building supplies, paint, sheet metal, and fishing among other things. We have a store, lumber yard, carpentry shop, and sheet metal workshop. We currently have 2 carpenters working in the field and are now looking for more team members. We are looking for two experienced carpenters for immediate employment. As a carpenter with us, you will work on diverse projects mostly for private individuals but also for businesses. Because the company is located in a rural area, we carry out many different types of assignments. This can range from fine carpentry, casting, and roofing to projects such as extensions, renovations, and new construction. The jobs can be large and small. You will be an important part of the team and contribute to delivering high quality in every detail. What we offer Valsjöbyn is located approximately 130 km north of Östersund with beautiful views of Norwegian mountains. Valsjöbyn is mostly known for its fantastic fishing waters. But there is also much to enjoy for those interested in nature or for those who simply want beautiful views and plenty of living space around them. In the village there is a school, grocery store, building materials store, camping with food service, and an active traditional summer farm with dining during the summer season. In winter, fantastic snowmobile riding is offered with beautiful trails that take you to reliable fishing waters. Valsjöbyn is a growing rural community with a young generation taking over. Here you are offered a safe place for parents to let their children grow up. There is a strong sense of community, closeness to nature, and active community organizations.
