SMART Psychiatry seeks an experienced psychologist for assessment and treatment We are looking for an experienced licensed psychologist who wants to combine assessment and treatment, and who is curious about how mental health interacts with physical and hormonal factors. The position is suitable for you if you have worked as a psychologist for several years and want to continue developing in a context where psychological expertise is central. About SMART Psychiatry SMART Psychiatry is a private specialist psychiatric healthcare provider that serves children, adolescents, and adults for assessment, neuropsychiatric evaluation, and treatment. Our patients come both as private payers and through contracts. We meet patients with conditions including ADHD, autism, anxiety, depression, stress-related illness, and other psychiatric comorbidities. Neuropsychiatric evaluations are a central part of our operations, and we work continuously to develop well-thought-out approaches based on evidence-based practice. About the Position In this role, you will work with neuropsychiatric evaluations and psychological treatment, primarily with adult patients. You will frequently encounter complex cases where NPD intersects with psychiatric issues, life situation, relationships, work, studies, stress, sleep, and physical factors. Part of the position involves contributing to our continued development in the areas of mental health and hormonal health. For example, this could involve deepening understanding of how well-being, concentration, emotional regulation, functional level, and recovery are affected by hormonal changes in different life phases. You do not need to be an expert from the start. However, you need to be interested in learning, staying current with the knowledge base, and contributing to an approach that considers the whole patient situation. The work may include: - Neuropsychiatric evaluations of adults - Psychological treatment and support conversations - Assessments and treatment planning - Diagnostic determinations - Report writing and psychoeducational elements - Collaboration with physicians, nurses, and psychology colleagues - Development work in NPD, mental health, and hormonal health Who We Are Looking For We are looking for someone with Swedish psychology licensure and solid clinical experience. You are confident in the psychology role, accustomed to making independent assessments, and have a good ability to handle complex clinical cases with both structure and judgment. You have an interest in NPD, psychiatry, and psychological treatment work. You enjoy discussing diagnostics, function, and interventions, express yourself well in speech and writing, and thrive in collaboration with other professions. Experience with neuropsychiatric evaluations, adult psychiatry, psychological treatment, or psychiatric comorbidity is a merit.
