About the Role Securitas in Luleå is now seeking security guards for assignments protecting critical national infrastructure for Sweden. This is an assignment for those who are not just looking for a job – but are ready to take on a task with great responsibility and real significance for our country's supply and security. It's about protecting what must function – around the clock, year-round. As a security guard, you play a decisive role in maintaining security for operations that are important to Sweden. You work with extended authority, often in close collaboration with our clients. The work is varied and can include both stationary surveillance, mobile patrols, and access control. You will need to make your own decisions in critical situations, have good stamina, and sound judgment. That's why we're looking for someone who can stay calm when others don't – and is loyal to Swedish interests. Security guard surveillance is conducted both indoors and outdoors, day and night. As a security guard in this position, you work all hours of the day. The work is team-based but also independent and requires great responsibility. Shift lengths vary, but are often arranged in 12-hour shifts on a rotating schedule. Since we operate a facility that is open every day of the year, it's common to work every other weekend. The position involves, among other things: Protecting critical national infrastructure from theft, unauthorized access, and other threats Performing inspections according to applicable regulations and instructions Collaborating with personnel and authorities on security matters We are security. Job Requirements Requirements: Passed grades in Swedish at upper secondary school level Class B driver's license and own car to commute to and from work Be open and available for work in other locations Swedish citizenship At least 18 years old Meritorious if you also have: Civil or military security guard training; if you have completed security guard training with the Swedish Armed Forces as part of the Armed Forces basic training (GMU), this can be validated for civilian use. Security guard training and GMU must be completed in 2016 or later and your training certificate must not be older than five years at the time of application Complete security officer training, VU1 and VU2 Previous experience working with protection of guarded objects, other surveillance work, or security work Completed HAS training We're looking for someone with integrity, maturity, and the ability to take responsibility – for both your own and others' safety.
