Job Description Securitas' security department is growing – and we are now recruiting new security guards full-time for an exciting assignment in Uppsala The position involves both visible safety-creating work and tasks in more secluded environments where accuracy and discretion are crucial. Employment Type: Permanent Employment Working Hours: Day shift according to 5/2 schedule Work Shifts: 12-hour shifts Location: Uppsala As a security guard, you staff the surveillance and control center with responsibility for camera monitoring, alarm handling and coordination of patrols. You carry out identity checks and prevent unauthorized access in accordance with applicable laws and procedures. Regular internal and external rounds are conducted to prevent security risks, and you assist the public with information and support as needed. Requirements Approved grades in Swedish from the first year of upper secondary school Class B driver's license Swedish citizenship Meritorious if you are trained as a security guard with valid approval or trained as a security officer at least VU2 level have weapons training have worked in the security industry As a person, we believe you are service-oriented, calm and organized and can handle periodically high work pace.
