Job Description Security guards play a key role in maintaining security at Sweden's most critical national sites. These protected objects, such as military installations, government agencies, energy facilities, and other essential infrastructure, are crucial for our society to function. Disruptions or attacks on these can have serious consequences for the entire country. Security guards have authority and are specially trained to identify and prevent various types of threats, such as unauthorized access, sabotage, and unauthorized documentation of sensitive areas. These incidents can pose significant security risks. We are now seeking several full-time security guards for our Protection division, where you work to protect important and societally critical operations. To describe the duties at the Lovön facility as well as possible, we spoke with one of the security guards on site who describes the work as follows: - "What stands out for me about this position is the nature-rich environment in which you work. Additionally, it's a tight-knit team working here, and we do fun things together even outside of work". This is a position for you with high integrity, good judgment, and a strong security awareness. You understand the seriousness of the assignment and take responsibility for acting correctly even under pressure. We would like you to have a few years of relevant work experience, preferably from a security-related position or another role where responsibility, reliability, and judgment have been central. Employment - The position is a full-time employment. Working Hours - We are seeking personnel for all shifts, Monday to Friday, with both day and night shifts. For shift work, you will primarily work 12-hour shifts according to an established quarterly schedule. Location - Lovön, near Ekerö, in western Stockholm. 10 minutes from Brommaplan. Free parking is available if you have your own transport. You will, for example: Staff the surveillance and command center Ensure that unauthorized persons are not given access to the protected facility Perform internal and external inspections within the area Take responsibility for vehicle searches and inspection of transports Work proactively with security and protective measures in and around the protected facility Education: If Securitas chooses to proceed with your application, training will be provided as part of the recruitment process.
