We are now recruiting committed employees for our security guard operations in Linköping – for part-time employment that can become full-time. As a security guard, your primary task is to deliver security at our customers' locations. You do this, for example, in a monitoring center or at an access control point. As a security guard, you have substantial authority and often work closely with our customers' personnel on facilities that are critical to Sweden's security. The work is independent and often feels free, but with great responsibility. The work tasks are highly varied, and as a security guard you can work both indoors and outdoors, night or day. Shift lengths vary, but are often arranged in 12-hour shifts. Since Securitas operates throughout the year, it is common to work every other weekend. You will, for example: Handle matters within your assignment area Ensure that no unauthorized persons have access to the facilities Staff stationary facilities as needed This position suits you if you enjoy working with people and helping them in their daily lives. Requirements: Approved grades in Swedish and English from the first year of upper secondary school. You must be trained as a security guard, civilian or military, with a valid training certificate. Category B driver's license Meritorious if you also have: Guard training If you have professional experience from the security industry or the Swedish Armed Forces. Firearm handling (HAS) As a person, we believe you are service-oriented, calm, and organized, and can handle periodic high work tempo. You are interested in technology and have an aptitude for understanding instructions. We see that you are an independent person who trusts your own abilities, quickly understand problems, and solve them creatively. You have a systematic and thorough approach with an eye for detail. Security Clearance Please note that this position is classified and requires that you undergo a security clearance according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585). To investigate and assess whether you meet the requirements to be approved under applicable regulations, security interviews, background checks, and register checks will be conducted. The assessment aims to investigate lawfulness, suitability, reliability, loyalty, and any vulnerabilities according to the Swedish Security Police's regulations and guidance. Information obtained may come from, for example, yourself, open sources, or authorities. We apply a comprehensive assessment of you, your life situation, and your financial circumstances when evaluating your suitability. Where applicable, similar checks may be conducted of the person you live with or have a similar relationship with. To be eligible for the position, therefore (at minimum): You do not appear in the Police Authority's various registers, such as suspicion register, criminal record register, etc. You have orderly finances; you do not have payment defaults, unresolved debts, or appear with debt collection agencies or Kronofogden This is not an ordinary job - it is a mission in service of society.
