Vejbyhem is now seeking two committed and confident Protection Consultants, including one permanent position with a probationary period on a full-time basis and one temporary contract on a full-time basis for the period August 31, 2026 – June 6, 2027. With us, you will work in an operation where safety, quality, and professional conduct are central. We offer sheltered housing for women with comorbidity, where substance abuse and mental health issues are common. The work involves supporting women in creating safety, stability, and conditions for a life free from violence and destructive life patterns. The positions, which are at 100%, follow a schedule arranged primarily during daytime with some service on weekends. On-call duty is part of the position, according to schedule. As a Protection Consultant, you work with: Providing individual support and motivational conversations. Establishing, following up on, and documenting implementation plans. Supporting clients in contacts with authorities, healthcare, and other collaborative partners. Working with risk awareness and safety issues. Motivating toward sobriety, treatment, and increased independence. Documenting according to applicable legislation and the operation's procedures. Collaborating closely with colleagues to create a safe and professional environment. We are looking for you who Have post-secondary education in social work, behavioral science, or other education that the employer deems equivalent. Have experience working with substance abuse, mental health issues, intimate partner violence, or other psychosocial treatment work. Are confident, empathetic, and have a good ability to create professional relationships. Can work in a structured manner and make well-founded decisions even in stressful situations. Have a good ability to document and express yourself verbally and in writing. Have a B driver's license. Meritorious qualifications include training in SARA or PATRIARK and experience in sheltered housing, social services, or correctional services, as well as knowledge of MI, low-arousal approaches, and trauma-informed perspectives.
