Psychiatry in Region Gävleborg is in the midst of an exciting transformation. We are now expanding our specialist psychiatric care team (SPOT), which is stationed in Hudiksvall but operates throughout Hälsingland. The team provides acute services in the evenings and on weekends and works close to patients as an important link between outpatient and inpatient care. Our ambition is to provide help and support where the patient is located. The work can include suicide risk assessments, crisis management, anxiety management, and supportive conversations. The SPOT team collaborates with municipalities and other key stakeholders to create more cohesive support for patients. We are looking for someone who is proactive and sees what needs to be done and is not afraid to think outside the box. You are creative and dare to try new working methods and approaches while being self-reliant and comfortable with independent responsibility, tackling new tasks with great enthusiasm. Furthermore, you are organized and pay attention to details without losing the bigger picture. You need to feel confident in your own psychiatric assessments and be able to make decisions based on experience and knowledge within your profession and our routines. In your role as Nursing Assistant/Nurse, you should • be a trained nursing assistant or nurse • have extensive experience working in psychiatric care, preferably in outpatient and inpatient settings • have a valid driver's license (Class B). For this position, it is advantageous if you have experience in psychiatric mobile work, as well as work experience from regional and municipal psychiatry. Before offering employment, the employer has the right to request an extract from the criminal record register. Information about the title nursing assistant As of July 1, 2023, nursing assistant became a protected professional title. This means that you will need a certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare to use the title nursing assistant in healthcare and social care. You can apply for the certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare. If you do not have a certificate, you can continue to work in healthcare and social care, but under a different title than nursing assistant. In Region Gävleborg, this means that the title in your employment contract will be care assistant until your certificate is submitted. Employment type: Fixed-term employment.
