About the Operation
Inpatient department within child and adolescent psychiatry in Sundsvall. Here, children and adolescents up to 18 years of age with severe or acute psychiatric conditions requiring around-the-clock psychiatric care are treated. Patients may be cared for under HSL or LPT. They are cared for together with their guardians. The department is staffed with care workers, nurses, and physicians. A coordinator, psychologist, educators, dietitian, and physiotherapist are part of the team caring for the patient.
We are now seeking a new team member for day and evening shifts. This is a permanent full-time position with a start date by agreement. You will be offered individual training both theoretical and practical.
Job Responsibilities
Psychiatric nursing care, monitoring health status, assessing care needs, and conducting support conversations.
Documentation of nursing observations.
Responsibility for supervision and being available to patients and guardians.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who:
Is trained as a nursing assistant or has other relevant education suitable for psychiatric nursing care
Has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
Holds a category B driver's license
It is a merit if you:
Have advanced training in psychiatry
Have work experience within psychiatry
Have additional language skills
