The Psychiatric Clinic Motala Mjölby consists of outpatient services in general psychiatry and addiction care in Motala and Mjölby. The clinic serves western Östergötland as its catchment area and has been part of Psychiatry Center since 2020, together with all other psychiatric operations in Region Östergötland. Job Description With the patient in focus, we work in an integrated manner with outpatient services, acute psychiatry, specialized psychiatric home care, and inpatient care. As a care attendant on the Mobile Care Team, you will have varied and developmental work where you meet patients both in acute situations and in planned care interventions at home. Your work includes, among other things: - acute interventions and planned psychiatric home care - support and activity visits - supportive conversations - telephone counseling - collaboration with patients, family members, and other care providers - observing changes in the patient's condition and needs - documentation and reporting - contributing to safe and secure psychiatric care. All home visits are conducted together with a colleague, which creates security for both the patient and the employee. At the same time, you as a care attendant need to be confident in your professional role, take your own initiative, and contribute your observations and expertise to the team. You will work together with knowledgeable and dedicated colleagues and have easy access to support and consultation. The position offers varied work tasks and good opportunities to develop within psychiatric care. We are now seeking an employee for a permanent position, with start date by agreement. Working hours are scheduled for day, evening, night, and weekend shifts. Work Group You will become part of a work group of approximately 22 employees consisting of specialist nurses, nurses, care attendants, and team leaders. We have broad expertise and varied experience, which creates good opportunities to learn from one another and develop together. As an employee, you will also have the opportunity to participate in internal training and professional development. About You You are a trained care attendant/nursing assistant and we would like to see that you have previous experience in psychiatry. The role involves daily communication with patients, their family members, and among your colleagues; it is therefore important that you have very good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing. Experience in psychiatric care is a merit, but not a requirement. What's most important is that you are interested in psychiatric care and want to develop in the role. A B-category driver's license is required. To thrive and fit in with us, your personal qualities are important. We are looking for someone who is confident and stable in your professional role and who has good ability to collaborate with both patients and colleagues. You are flexible, self-driven, and adapt easily to changing situations. You are empathetic, service-oriented, and have good verbal communication skills. Great weight is placed on personal maturity and the ability to create trustworthy encounters.
