Krokslätts Gymnasium is located in the charming and historic Krokslättsfabriker, close to Gothenburg. The school is easily accessible by tram, only 9 minutes from Korsvägen or 4 minutes from Mölndal station, making it convenient for both students and staff to get there. We are now seeking a school nurse who wants to be part of our operations at Krokslätts Gymnasium's school unit for national vocational programs. This position is a temporary contract at 80% through July 4, 2027. 1 position(s). DUTIES You will be part of the school unit's comprehensive student health team and work closely with the school doctor, school counselor, school psychologist, special education teachers, and principals. Together with the comprehensive student health team and other staff at the school, you will work preventatively, health-promotively, and with interventions to create a good learning environment that promotes learning, development, and health in particular. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse with further education as a child health nurse or district nurse, alternatively other relevant higher education with a focus on school nursing work. You have good knowledge of the legislation governing student health work, such as the Health and Medical Care Act and the Education Act, as well as good familiarity with the Social Services Act and the Act Concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments. You understand students' different needs and circumstances and can adapt your support and approach based on the individual. In this role, you need to be able to work both with individual interventions and preventatively and health-promotively at the group and organizational level. You have a good understanding of the school's mission and the ability to adapt your communication and working methods to a pedagogical environment. It is meritorious if you have previous experience working as a school nurse and working within student health, for example through student health meetings. We would like to see that you have experience in cooperation with external actors such as habilitation, child and adolescent psychiatry, and specialized child care.
