As a school nurse you are part of student health's general work to promote students' learning, development and health, and to work preventively to remove obstacles to learning, development and health. Student health works together with the school's other staff to create good conditions for all students to reach the goals of education. With us you become part of a strong and well-functioning central student health team where collaboration, collegial learning and regular development days are a natural part of the work. We are looking for someone who can create a positive development and collaboration climate with colleagues, staff, students and guardians. You understand the importance of good communication and see the student from a holistic perspective and have a genuine interest in creating sustainable relationships with students, guardians and colleagues. As a school nurse you have the opportunity to make a difference at the individual, group and organizational level. In daily work this includes health examinations, health consultations, vaccinations, open clinic, health education and collaboration with other professionals within student health through student health team meetings. As a school nurse you also participate in quality assurance and development at the school. Since you are part of Central Child and Student Health you also collaborate with other professionals within the unit, such as school counselors, school psychologists and special educators, as well as with the municipality's other school nurses and school physicians. We conduct regular joint development days where we work on competence development, experience exchange and operations development. To provide the best possible support in the role we also offer regular supervision from an external supervisor. Together this creates good conditions for professional development, reflection and collegial learning, while you contribute to strengthening student health work throughout the municipality. The role also includes contact with guardians, educators and the school's other staff as well as external contacts such as BUP and HAB. Together with your school nurse colleagues you contribute medical expertise as support in the educational work and participate in health promotion and preventive work for all children's and students' development toward learning and health. QUALIFICATIONS You who are applying are a licensed nurse with further education in health and medical care for children and youth or public health care/district nurse, or alternatively a school nurse. We want you to be a strong driving force in health promotion and preventive work and have experience of working in a team. Good knowledge of the Swedish school system is meritorious. Of course you have good ability to use digital technology as a tool in your daily work and it is meritorious if you have experience with the Prorenata record system. To succeed in the role you have the ability to create good relationships with students, guardians and colleagues. Furthermore you are a person with good collaboration skills and sense of responsibility. Being thorough and organized are also qualities we are looking for. Great weight will be placed on personal suitability. The person offered the position must provide an extract from the police criminal record.
