The school was named School Building of the Year in 2020 and has fantastic facilities. Bobergsskolan is an F-9 school with approximately 800 students. Hjorthagens School is a small family-oriented F-6 school with 200 students that shares the same principal as Bobergsskolan. Your role As a school nurse, you are employed directly under the principal, who is responsible for student health work. - Carry out the student health medical interventions at school in accordance with current legislation, the city's Student Health Work Program which includes Management System for Student Health Medical Interventions and central School Health regulations and guidelines. - In collaboration with school management and other student health personnel, use your medical expertise to create the best possible conditions for students' learning, development and health. - Together with the school doctor and in consultation with school management, be responsible for organizing the student health medical interventions at school. - The work includes collaboration with students, parents, school staff as well as organizations and authorities outside the school. - Since March 2022, Stockholm's school nurses have been recording patient information in the Prorenata medical records system. Your competence and experience Education requirements Licensed nurse with one of the following specialist nurse qualifications: - Specialist Nurse Program – District Nurse 75 hp - Specialist Nurse Program – Child and Youth 60 hp - Specialist Nurse Program – School Nurse 60 hp To succeed in the role of school nurse, you are professional, flexible and relationship-building. You have a respectful and empathetic approach characterized by dialogue and participation in encounters with the student and/or guardian. You have good judgment, are thorough and have good collaboration skills. In addition, the role requires the ability to be independent and structured in your working method to succeed in planning short and long term. You have good computer skills and the ability to be organized to plan activities short and long term and the ability to work independently. Previous experience as a school nurse, public health science competence and experience of: It is advantageous if you have previously worked in the Prorenata medical records system as well as experience with the PMO medical records system. Other information The position is 50% and you work closely with our other school nurse who works 100%. Together you are responsible for both schools based on the division that works best for you.
