We also actively work with good student relationships and significant student influence. We are a municipal upper secondary school located at Zinkensdamm on Södermalm. We consist of approximately 600 students and 60 employees. The school offers four national programs and an introductory program: - Economics program with focus on economics, global entrepreneurship profile - Aesthetic program with focus on aesthetics and media, society profile - Natural Science program with focus on natural science, sustainable development profile - Social Science program with focus on social science, global profile - Language Introduction for newly arrived students We are now seeking a substitute school nurse at 50-70% during Fall 2026 with possible extension during Spring 2027 What we offer Globala Gymnasium offers a stimulating workplace where you as an employee have the opportunity to develop professionally in an engaged and development-oriented collegial environment. We offer close collaboration with the school's mentors so that we can quickly meet students' needs and provide appropriate support as early as possible. We actively work to reduce student absenteeism with an extra strong focus on our language introduction classes. Your role As a school nurse, you are responsible for performing the medical services of student health at the school in accordance with applicable legislation, the city's program for student health work which includes a management system for medical student health services (EMI) and Central EMI's regulations and guidelines. The school nurse's task is, based on their medical expertise, to create the best possible conditions for students' learning, development, and health in collaboration with other professions at the school. As a school nurse at Globala Gymnasium, you have a key role in the school's student health team to promote and prevent health issues for successful academic progression. You have close collaboration with the rest of student health, namely school counselor, special educators, study and career advisors, social pedagogue, and school physician, teachers, mentors, and school management. You also work for collaboration with guardians and external actors. Furthermore, you are engaged and driven with an interest in health and sustainability issues. Together with the school physician and in consultation with school management, you are responsible for organizing the medical services of student health at the school. The work includes collaboration with students, guardians, school staff, and organizations and authorities outside the school. Stockholm city school nurses keep records in the journal system Prorenata. Your competence and experience We place great emphasis on experience working with language introduction and attendance-promoting initiatives. We also see that you have experience with good collaboration with school nurse colleagues since you will be working closely with our regular school nurse to plan and structure your work. Stockholm city uses competence-based recruitment aimed at recognizing each person's competence and thus counteracting discrimination. To work at our schools, you must provide a valid extract from the police's criminal record and suspicion registers before employment is offered.
