Hagsätraskolan offers 40% spread over two days, and Skanskvarnskolan offers 50% spread over two and a half days. At Hagsätraskolan, there is a large Student Health Team with many areas of expertise, which enables good interprofessional collaboration. We have regular meetings. There is a school psychologist, school nurses (there is one additional school nurse at the school working 80%), school counselors, special education teachers, special education specialists, and social pedagogues distributed across all school levels. Hagsätraskolan is a preschool-grade 9 school with approximately 600 students. At Hagsätraskolan there are CSU, central special education groups, for students in grades 1-9. It is also a preschool-grade 9 school that also has adapted primary education. More about that school can be found here: Skanskvarnsskolan, F–9 - Stockholms stad Your role As a school nurse, you are employed directly under the principal, who is responsible for student health work. You will carry out the medical services of student health in the school in accordance with current legislation, the city's Program for Student Health Work, which includes a Management System for Student Health Medical Services, and central School Health regulations and guidelines. In collaboration with school leadership and other student health personnel, using your medical expertise, create the best possible conditions for students' learning, development, and health. Together with the other school nurse, the school doctor, and in consultation with school leadership, you are responsible for organizing the medical services of student health in the school. The work includes collaboration with students, parents, school personnel, as well as organizations and authorities outside the school. Since March 2022, Stockholm's school nurses keep records in the journal system Prorenata. Your competence and experience The educational requirement is that you are a Licensed Nurse with one of the following specialist nurse education programs: Specialist Nurse Program – District Nurse 75 credits Specialist Nurse Program – Child and Youth 60 credits Specialist Nurse Program – School Nurse 60 credits To succeed in the role of school nurse, you are professional, flexible, and relationship-building. You have a respectful and empathetic approach, which is characterized by dialogue and participation in meetings with students and/or guardians. You have good judgment, are thorough, and have good collaboration skills. In addition, the role requires the ability to be independent and structured in your work approach to successfully plan both short and long term. You have good computer skills and the ability to be organized to plan activities in the short and long term and the ability to work independently. You have previously worked as a school nurse and have a few years of experience in the role. It is a merit if you have previously worked in the journal system Prorenata as well as experience in the journal system PMO. Other Information The position at Hagsätraskolan is 40%, spread over two days. There is an opportunity to expand it with 50% spread over two and a half days at Skanskvarnskolan. Hagsätraskolan and Skanskvarnskolan, like all schools in the City of Stockholm, offer a wellness benefit of 3000 kr/year/full-time.
