Folkuniversitetet is the principal of a upper secondary school in central Stockholm - Kungstens Gymnasium. We offer Sam-sam, Sam-beteende, Ek-ek, Ek-jur, and Estetiska programs, with a focus on photography. The gymnasium has approximately 660 students as of fall 2026. The building also houses a variety of other educational programs and courses. We have an international profile and seek cross-disciplinary connections that are manifested in recurring project-based work. Our view of students is based on a belief in human beings' innate potential for development, and we work with student health as part of the entire school. Our fundamental principle is that everyone at the school must collaborate so that students feel well and can develop as much as possible. Adapting the students' learning environment is central to this work. For fall 2026, we are seeking a qualified school nurse at 40%. Desired Qualifications Licensed nurse with specialist nursing education in Health and Care for Children and Young People, 60 credits. District nurse, 75 credits. Or School Nurse Program from University of Skövde, 60 credits. Job Description The school nurse's role is to collaborate with other student health personnel, school administration, and teachers. Using your medical expertise, create the best possible conditions for students' health, development, and learning. Together with the school physician and in consultation with school administration, you are responsible for organizing the school's medical student health interventions according to current guidelines and directives. The work involves collaboration with students, parents, school staff, and external organizations and authorities. Who We Are Looking For We hope you have experience working as a school nurse, preferably at the upper secondary level, and that your focus is on working preventatively and health-promotively together with other staff members at the school. We want you to take initiative in and participate in various health-promoting projects and actively collaborate with your colleagues in the student health team as well as with teachers and other staff.
