The school serves 100 students in grades 7-9. We maintain small classes and high staff-to-student ratios. The school is located in newly renovated facilities at Telefonplan in Hägersten. Responsibilities As a school nurse, your work will primarily focus on health promotion and prevention. The overarching goal is to ensure all students have the opportunity to meet the school's academic standards. As a school nurse, you will be part of the school's integrated student health team and work closely with the school physician, special education specialist, psychologist, counselor, and assistant principal and principal. An integrated student health team supports students' development toward educational goals. The school nurse's duties include standard school nursing tasks that form important parts of this work. Health check-ups and the open clinic are vital components in providing each student with the support they need at school. Additional duties include vaccinations according to the national vaccination program. Qualifications You must be a licensed nurse with specialist training in healthcare for children and young people or in public health and social care. Previous experience working with children and adolescents and experience as a school nurse is considered advantageous. The position requires proficiency with computers. As a person, you should be organized and thorough, thrive working in multidisciplinary teams, and demonstrate entrepreneurial qualities—someone who enjoys creating and taking personal initiative. You have a strong commitment to health promotion work, creating a positive, tolerant, and safe school environment, and continuously working to build good relationships across all levels. Employment Terms Fixed-term position at 20%, vacation replacement with start date as soon as possible or by agreement. Preferably available on Tuesdays when we hold our student health team meetings.
