The school has 100 students in grades 7-9. We have small classes and high staff-to-student ratio. The school is located in newly renovated facilities at Telefonplan in Hägersten. Duties As a school nurse, your work focuses primarily on health promotion and prevention. The overall goal is to ensure all students have the opportunity to meet academic requirements at school. As a school nurse, you are part of an integrated student health team at the school and work closely with the school physician, special education teacher, psychologist, counselor, and assistant principal and principal. An integrated student health team supports students' development toward educational goals. Your role includes standard school nurse duties that are important parts of this work. Health checks and open clinic hours are key components in ensuring each student receives the support they need at school. Other duties include vaccinations according to the general vaccination program. Qualifications You must be a licensed registered nurse with specialist training in healthcare for children and youth or in public health and healthcare. Previous experience working with children and youth, as well as experience as a school nurse, is considered an asset. The position requires good computer skills. As a person, you should be organized and thorough, enjoy working in multidisciplinary teams, and have entrepreneurial qualities—someone who thrives creating and taking own initiatives. You have a strong commitment to health promotion work, creating a school environment that is positive, tolerant, and safe, and continually working to build good relationships across all areas. Employment Terms Fixed-term position at 20%, vacation coverage with start as soon as possible or by agreement. Preferably available on Tuesdays when we hold our student health meetings.
