JOB DUTIES As a school nurse with us, you work to promote and prevent health issues to support students' health and academic development. We also have close and good collaboration with psychologists, counselors, special education teachers, principals, and other staff. You will be offered regular supervision and good opportunities for professional development. Your main job duties include: • Conduct health visits with health consultations and relevant screenings. • Offer open clinic hours for students. • Perform vaccinations according to the national child vaccination program. • Conduct health promotion work at group and class levels within public health and social medicine. • Provide consultation and advice to educators. • Participate in assessments of students' school situations. • Work with attendance and absence follow-up. • Collaborate with external authorities to ensure the best possible support for students. You are also an important resource in the Child and Student Health team's overall development work. Together with the principal and other team members in the school's student health team, you work for each student's best interests. Child and Student Health is an LGBTQI-certified operation. Our goal is that LGBTQI competence forms the foundation for a culture where everyone feels safe to explore and express who they are and create conditions for health and learning. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse with specialist education in school nursing, child and youth nursing, or district nursing. Even if you are currently pursuing specialist education, you are welcome to apply. You have a genuine interest in working with children and young people and want to help them have a positive school experience. As a person, you need to be secure, stable, responsible, flexible, and independent. You work well in collaboration and can structure your work well. If you have training in Motivational Interviewing (MI), that is a merit. A driver's license is a requirement. Employment type: Permanent position. Duration: Permanent, start date: By agreement.
