Main job responsibilities:
Conduct pedagogical activities in accordance with the LR Education Law, General Education Law, IZM standards, PII regulations, PII internal rules, PII educational programs, and state preschool education guidelines;
Perform diagnostics of learners' speech, language, and written language disorders, implement corrective-developmental activities and prevention measures to promote mastery of language competencies outlined in State Preschool Education Guidelines;
Plan own activities, develop a schedule of speech-language pathology classes, complete speech-language pathology teacher documentation in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements and institutional requirements;
Prepare written reports on learners' speech, language, and written language development; recommend consultations with the pedagogical-medical commission when provided for in regulatory acts or upon written parental request for learners requiring support measures in the learning process;
Consult and involve learners' parents in corrective-developmental activities, advise pedagogues, provide recommendations for learners' speech and language development;
Be responsible for learners' safety and health, ensuring learners' security;
Cooperate with learners' parents, class and institutional staff and other duties in accordance with the job description;
Conducting research on learners' developmental dynamics;
Participate in institutional development planning and implementation in accordance with competencies.
Requirements for candidates:
Education in accordance with Cabinet of Ministers Regulation No. 569 of September 11, 2018 "Regulations on Education and Professional Qualifications Required for Pedagogues and the Procedure for Improving Pedagogues' Professional Competence";
Knowledge of regulatory acts governing the education sector;
Positive, creative, and responsible attitude toward work;
Ability to plan, manage, and analyze own work;
Understanding of developmental characteristics of learners' age groups and the laws of communication psychology;
Ability to communicate respectfully with children and adults;
Psychological resilience and high communication standards;
Ability to analyze and resolve conflict situations, respect confidentiality and tolerance;
Skill to work in a team;
Skills in working with information and communication technologies;
Continuous professional development in accordance with the latest advances and current issues in speech-language pathology, pedagogy, and psychology within the unified European education space.
