Ropažu Municipality Self-Government Ulbroka Early Childhood Education Institution "Pienenīte" (registration number 40900004565) is seeking a speech-language pathologist teacher (profession code: 235201) Main job responsibilities: • implement preschool education programs for children with language development disorders; • plan work activities, create class schedules; • complete speech-language pathologist teacher documentation in accordance with applicable legislation and the educational institution's requirements; • develop individual plans when necessary; • organize speech and language development assessments each academic year in September and before the end of the academic year to track language development progress; • ensure collaboration with group teachers and students' parents, provide feedback; • participate in support team meetings and prepare reports and evaluations as requested. Requirements for candidates: higher preschool pedagogical education, or a student in a corresponding program, in accordance with Cabinet of Ministers Regulation No. 569 of 11.09.2018 "Regulations on the Education and Professional Qualifications Required for Pedagogues and the Procedure for Professional Competence Development for Pedagogues" sections 2, 5, 6, 21.3, III, and 17; desired experience with similar work in a preschool education institution; knowledge of preschool education institution operating specifics; good interpersonal and communication skills; Latvian language proficiency at C1 level.
