Do you love working with young people and have experience as a school counselor? Are you passionate about student well-being and skilled at building relationships?
We are now seeking a school counselor at 30% for an upper secondary school in Stockholm from 9/29 to 12/15, 2026. The school has a student health team consisting of two full-time school counselors, two special education teachers, two school nurses, one specialist teacher, and eight full-time mentors. The school primarily offers two programs: Agricultural Studies and Hotel and Tourism.
The position is structured for full Mondays 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM and half Thursdays 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM. You will participate in student health meetings and work on all types of counselor responsibilities.
As a school counselor, you will be employed by Klara and work on-site at the school. We are recruiting continuously and welcome applications now!

Your Background
You will be part of the school's student health team.
To be qualified for this position, you must have a degree as a social worker, preferably with experience working in schools. Good knowledge of the Social Services Act and other relevant laws is required.
Examples of tasks:
- Work with student groups for preventive purposes or in special problem situations
- Provide support and motivational conversations with individual students and possibly with guardians
- Support students with special needs due to physical, mental, and social difficulties
- Be available for advice and consultation
- Collaborate with social services, youth health services, police, etc.
- Participate in the school's student health team (EHT)
- Assist in developing action plans for EHT
