DUTIES
Lundskolan is seeking a dedicated school counselor who wants to strengthen our student welfare team and drive work around student wellbeing, safety, conducive learning environment, and social development. With us, you will have a central role in creating a safe school environment where all students have the conditions to succeed and reach their goals.
Your main responsibilities
• Contribute psychosocial expertise to student welfare work at the organizational, group, and individual levels.
• Actively work with preventive, health-promoting, and intervention measures in close connection to students' daily lives.
• Lead and oversee the school's absence management.
• Lead and oversee the school's work with bullying and harassment.
• Collaborate closely with the school's educators, management, and other professionals in the student welfare team (EHT).
• Cooperate with external actors such as social services, BUP, and other relevant agencies when needed.
QUALIFICATIONS
You thrive in a dynamic environment with a fast pace and have the ability to see the student's entire school day as a whole. As a person, you are confident, have good organizational skills, and move naturally between independent work and close teamwork. You find it easy to build trusting relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues alike.
Qualifications:
• Degree in Social Work (Socionomexamen).
• Documented experience working with children and young people.
• Strong ability to work both independently and in a team.
• Good organizational skills and experience with investigations regarding absence and bullying.
• Previous experience as a school counselor.
Interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis and the position will be filled based on necessary decisions made.
