You work both preventively and promotively, with group-strengthening initiatives in classes and with individual students through motivating conversations. Your work includes conducting student sessions such as support, conflict, and crisis conversations, as well as investigative conversations with students in groups and individually. You are also expected to serve as support to other staff members, for example during coaching time, and participate in the safety team. Furthermore, you are responsible for implementing the school's equal treatment plan and actively contribute to the school's overall development and take responsibility for achieving organizational goals. Qualifications We are looking for someone with a degree in social work or behavioral science. It is a merit if you have previous experience working as a school counselor or working with youth. As a person, you have the ability to build good relationships with students and colleagues. You should be outgoing and understand the importance of collegial collaboration, as well as collaboration with school leadership. You are attentive, have good judgment, and also dare to express your views from your perspective as a counselor. You listen, communicate, and resolve conflicts in a constructive manner. You take great responsibility for your task and structure your approach independently and drive your work forward. Furthermore, you are driven by seeing your students reach their full potential and share our view on health and development. Terms The position is a permanent employment at 50%. We apply a 6-month probationary period. The start date is October 1 or by agreement. Becoming Part of the Team We work efficiently and modernly.
