Requirements for position candidates: - Education meeting the requirements specified in the Education Law and Cabinet of Ministers Regulation No. 569 of 11.09.2018 "Regulations on the Education and Professional Qualifications Required for Pedagogues and the Procedure for Professional Development of Pedagogues"; - At least three years of pedagogical work experience in the education field or in educational management, acquired within the last 10 years; - State language proficiency at the highest level in accordance with the requirements of the State Language Law and proficiency in at least one official European Union language to the extent necessary for professional activities; - The candidate is not subject to restrictions for working as a pedagogue as specified in the Education Law and the Child Rights Protection Law; - Strategic vision for the institution's operations; - Understanding and knowledge of educational institution management specifics, including knowledge of regulatory acts governing education, labor relations, and child rights protection, as well as issues related to educational institution financing and budget planning; - Good skills in working with information and communication technologies, including computer user-level proficiency; - Management skills, ability to motivate employees, and capability to work in a team and individually; - Ability to express and defend opinions, prioritize, and make independent decisions; - Good presentation and communication skills. Main duties of the position: - Ensure the performance of functions specified in the institution's regulations; - Ensure compliance with regulatory acts governing the institution's operations, the institution's regulations, regulatory acts, decisions, and orders issued by Bauska Municipality Council; - Prepare and submit budget requests and expense estimates to Bauska Municipality Administration, plan and control the rational use of allocated funds in accordance with the approved institution budget; - Direct the institution and its employees' activities in accordance with requirements of regulatory acts governing the education field of the Republic of Latvia; provide the institution with appropriately qualified pedagogues and employees; promote professional development of pedagogues; ensure the process of self-evaluation and self-analysis among pedagogues in the institution; enhance professional skills; - Ensure continuity of the educational process and its compliance with regulatory act requirements; - Ensure beneficial use and management of the educational institution's movable and immovable property; - Participate in the implementation of projects related to the institution's operations or improvement of its operations; - Ensure maintenance of the institution and its territory in good order.
