Rezekne State City Municipality Central Administration Education Department announces an open competition for the position of Director of Rezekne Secondary School No. 2 Main Responsibilities: Organize and manage the educational process in accordance with regulatory requirements, ensuring the implementation of curriculum content, quality instruction, and evaluation of student academic achievement. Plan and coordinate the work of pedagogical staff, provide methodological guidance, and promote professional development of teachers. Ensure efficient and rational management of municipal real property assigned to the educational institution, including maintenance of premises and territory in accordance with safety, hygiene, and occupational health protection requirements. Organize planning and utilization of material and technical resources, monitor economic activities, and ensure that the educational institution's property is preserved, maintained, and used for educational purposes. Requirements for Candidates: - candidates are not subject to restrictions for working as educators as established in the Education Law and the Child Rights Protection Law; - education meets the requirements established in the Education Law and Cabinet of Ministers regulations regarding necessary education and professional qualifications for educators and the procedure for continuing professional development of teachers; - knowledge of the state language at the highest level in accordance with State Language Law requirements and ability to use at least one official European Union language at the level necessary for professional activities; - at least five years of experience in educational management, general management, or pedagogical work in the education sector. Salary – EUR 2,253 (before tax payment). Employment – indefinite duration. Position status – official as defined by the Law "On Prevention of Conflict of Interest in the Activities of State Officials."
