Ogres Municipality Education Department invites applications for the position of Deputy Director for Education Quality and Development at Madliena Secondary School (profession code – 1345 09) on a full-time basis for an indefinite period. The successful candidate will work professionally, purposefully, and in collaboration with the school management team to promote the creation of a unified, high-quality, and development-oriented educational environment at Madliena Secondary School. Starting August 3, 2026, Madliena Secondary School will operate as a unified educational institution, delivering educational processes across multiple locations — Madliena School, Taurupe School, Ķeipene School, Mazozoli School, and Meņģeles School. The Deputy Director for Education Quality and Development will support a unified approach to education quality management, improvement of the teaching process, professional collaboration among teachers, and implementation of school development objectives. The role will also ensure administrative oversight for the purposeful integration of new pedagogical approaches and educational directions within the school's structural units. Key Job Responsibilities: ● Plan, organize, and oversee unified and high-quality implementation of educational processes and educational programs across all institutional structural units in accordance with state education standards requirements; ● Establish, maintain, and develop a unified education quality monitoring and self-assessment system for Madliena Secondary School; ● Lead the institution's methodological work, coordinate the activities of methodological councils/commissions, and promote exchange of best practices and experience among structural units; ● Plan and oversee the system for professional development of teachers in accordance with the school's strategic development needs; ● Provide administrative and coordinating support for successful integration of new pedagogical approaches and educational directions within the school's overall ecosystem; ● Initiate, develop, and manage local and international (including Erasmus+) educational development and innovation projects; ● In collaboration with structural unit leaders, address local educational process quality issues and provide recommendations to the institution's director.
