We are now seeking two forest machine operators for two of our machine crews where you will primarily drive harvesters in a final felling team or forest processors in a thinning team. For both positions, there is also an opportunity to rotate between the harvester and processor. As a machine operator, you have the important task of felling and transporting timber to accessible roads where it is collected for further transport to industries. Our goal is to fell the forest in the most sustainable way possible, where you become an important player in making decisions about how to proceed. In your daily work, you work together with your colleagues toward set goals and you plan and carry out the work yourselves within the group. The goal is to complete the assignment as qualitatively and efficiently as possible at the best possible cost. In addition to driving, your responsibilities also include ground work such as service and maintenance of the machines as well as financial monitoring. The environment and control systems you work with are digital and IT-based. The role of machine operator places high demands on safety, so it is important to work based on common sense and always follow the machines' safety procedures. The current work area for the processor operator is in Torsby municipality, while the harvester operator's work area is in Munkfors/Forshaga/Sunne. The position reports to the Intrapreneur. We are looking for someone with experience in forest machine operation or relevant training. You have experience driving harvesters and/or forest processors.
