With us, the forest grows, people grow, and business grows. We are now seeking a forest machine operator for one of our machine teams where you will primarily operate a harvester. As a machine operator, you have the important task of felling and transporting timber to accessible roads where it is then collected for further transport to industries. Our goal is to harvest the forest in as sustainable a way as possible, and you will be an important player in making decisions about how to proceed. In your daily work, you collaborate with your colleagues toward established goals and together you plan and carry out the work within the group. The goal is to complete the assignment as qualitatively and efficiently as possible at the best possible cost. In addition to operating the machinery, your responsibilities also include ground work such as servicing and maintaining the machines as well as financial monitoring. The environment and control systems you work with are digital and IT-based. The role of machine operator places high demands on safety, so it is important that you work with common sense and always follow the machines' safety procedures. The current work area is in Leksand/Nås and surrounding areas. This position reports to the Intrapreneur. Who are we looking for? We are looking for someone with experience in forest machine operation or relevant education. You have experience operating harvesters and/or skidders.
