With us, the forest grows, people grow, and business grows. We are now looking for a forest machine operator to join one of our machine crews where you will primarily operate a harvester. As a machine operator, you have the important task of felling and transporting timber to passable roads where it is then collected for further transport to industries. Our goal is to harvest the forest in as sustainable a way as possible, and you will be an important player in making decisions about how this should be done. In your daily work, you work together with your colleagues toward set goals and you plan and perform the work yourselves within the group. The goal is to complete the assignment as qualitatively and efficiently as possible at the best possible cost. In addition to operating the machinery, your responsibilities also include ground work such as servicing and maintaining the machines as well as financial monitoring. The environment and control systems you work with are digital and IT-based. The role of machine operator places high demands on safety, so it is important to work with common sense and always follow the machines' safety procedures. The current work area is in Leksand/Nås and surrounding areas. The position reports to the Entrepreneur. Who are we looking for? We are looking for you who have experience in forest machine operation or relevant training. You have experience operating a harvester and/or forwarder.
