The role involves supporting the restaurant manager by leading staff during shifts, helping as needed, and ensuring quality across all operations including service, bar, kitchen, and activities. You work hands-on in operations, are flexible, and work where needed such as in service, as a bartender, or as an activities coordinator. Your responsibilities include: Support the Restaurant Manager by leading staff during your shift and ensuring smooth operations including service, bar, kitchen, activities, facilities, guests, etc. Ensure checklists are followed and verified during your shift and signed off by you as shift manager Plan and prepare the venue and staff for upcoming bookings, including table setup and staffing planning Coach and quality assure staff across all operational areas during your shift Responsible for sound, visuals, and music throughout the venue and ensuring correct sports broadcasts are shown on screens Work actively in operations and be flexible, performing tasks such as service, bartender, or activities coordinator as needed Ensure functioning cash systems, payment terminals, and other technology during operations Responsible for resolving and managing any issues that arise during operations and involve relevant parties as needed Responsible for guest satisfaction and compensation during your shift Ensure opening and closing procedures are followed when the Restaurant Manager is not on site Handle phone calls and bookings and ensure accurate cash reconciliation and end-of-day procedures in the absence of the Restaurant Manager Report deviations, conduct training, be responsible for guest wellbeing, determine staff breaks, and if necessary send staff home when the Restaurant Manager is not on site Desired experience and qualities: Experience as a shift manager/area manager in restaurant/bar and have good cash handling skills Worked as a bartender and in service for several years Fluent spoken and written Swedish with good English proficiency Natural leader, problem solver, relationship builder, and possess strong project management skills Excellent verbal communication skills Does this sound like something for you?
