About the Job
As a Shift Engineer, you will work on a rotating shift schedule with responsibility for operational planning, monitoring, and optimization of our facilities. In addition to contributing to safe, stable, and efficient operation of the facilities, you will also:
- Operational leadership responsibility for your shift team
- Monitor and analyze operational data to ensure high availability and performance
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex operational disturbances
- Identify long-term trends and contribute to business development
- Train and mentor colleagues
- Participate in strategic decisions regarding investments, process changes, and development initiatives
On-call duty may be part of the position.
Who Are You?
We are looking for someone with several years of experience operating combined heat and power plants or other advanced process industries, with a deep understanding of facility systems and integrations. Upper secondary education with a focus on electrical/energy or technical subjects, as well as relevant qualified vocational education. You have good ability to analyze operational data, identify long-term trends, and translate your insights into practical improvement measures. The position also requires good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
It is meritorious if you are certified as an Operations Operator according to AFS 2017:3/2023:11, have good computer skills and experience working in multiple different systems, and have experience in leadership roles.
As a person, you are responsible, receptive, and team-oriented. You enjoy sharing your knowledge, communicate clearly, and work structurally with a focus on quality and continuous improvements.
