Octowood AB with 55 employees operating in Kälarne, Jämtland, is a subsidiary of Rundvirke Industrier, Sweden's largest specialty timber group. The group is characterized by a high quality mindset from raw material procurement to sales. Octowood manufactures poles for agricultural purposes as well as power line poles. Rundvirke Skog supplies raw materials to the group's industries. AB Rundvirke saws quality timber for solid window frames, laminated window frames are manufactured by Rundvirke component and Östanåsågen saws timber products. Impregna produces power line poles, railway sleepers and bridge products. Rundvirke Poles is the business group's sales company for power line poles. We need new employees. WE ARE LOOKING FOR SHIFT OPERATORS Job Description As an operator with us, you will work with the manufacture and impregnation of our fence poles, power and telecommunications poles and other products that our customers require. The work tasks include machine feeding, product processing, process monitoring, monitoring and troubleshooting, checking products to ensure the correct quality is produced, packaging finished products and simple occasional repairs and troubleshooting. Working hours are currently scheduled for morning and afternoon shifts according to a rotating schedule, but other shift arrangements may become relevant. Who Are You? It is a merit if you have experience from manufacturing industry, but it is not a requirement. We also see that you are conscientious, committed, thorough and self-driven. You have good teamwork skills and can work well in a group. You are positive and solution-oriented. To thrive in this position, you should find it easy to follow procedures, be able to take in instructions and be able to learn new technology. About the Position Salary according to local agreement with GS union. Full-time with 6 months probation. To ensure a safe and secure work environment, alcohol and drug testing may be part of the recruitment process. NOTE! Tests are conducted through breath tests and not blood tests. The alcohol test refers only to impairment at the time of testing. PEth testing is not used.
