What You'll Work With at Södra As a mechanic at our sawmill in Långasjö, you will work continuously and preventatively with maintenance work and be part of the department's ongoing operational development. We offer broad and responsible work where you get to receive, perform, and report maintenance work at the sawmill. The work involves problem-solving both independently and in collaboration with others. - Experience with maintenance of machinery equipment or work in some form of production flow - Hot work certificate - Forklift license Placement at Södra's sawmill in Långasjö, full-time and shift-based, start according to agreement. Who Are We Looking For? We are looking for someone with at least upper secondary education in a relevant area, preferably with complementary work experience as a mechanic. You have a positive attitude, are thorough, and have a good technical understanding. As a person, you have the ability to see things in context and have an inventiveness that means you don't shy away from problems that require new solutions. You enjoy collaborating with others and understand the importance of good communication with your colleagues. For us at Södra, work environment and safety are important matters, which is why you need to be safety-conscious. In addition to this, you have good knowledge of the Swedish language and hold a valid B-class driver's license. It is also meritorious if you have: Light welding is part of the work, and you therefore need to have basic welding experience.
