The group is characterized by high quality standards from raw material procurement to sales. Octowood manufactures poles for agricultural purposes as well as utility poles. Rundvirke Skog supplies the group's industries with raw materials. AB Rundvirke resaws quality timber for solid window components, laminated window components are manufactured by Rundvirke Komponent, and Östanåsågen saws timber products. Impregna produces utility poles, railway sleepers, and bridge products. Rundvirke Poles is the business group's sales company for power line poles. We are hiring new team members. WE ARE LOOKING FOR A SHIFT-BASED MACHINE OPERATOR Job Description As a machine operator with us, you will primarily work with material handling of Octopoles, Sleepers, By-products, and Power/Telecommunications Poles. Your tasks will include loading and unloading trucks and railway cars, supplying production lines with materials, warehouse management, cleaning, and snow removal of the industrial area. Working hours are currently scheduled as morning and afternoon shifts according to a rotating schedule, although other shift arrangements may become relevant. Who Are You? It is an advantage if you have training in wheel loaders and/or materials handling, but it is not a requirement. We also see that you are conscientious, committed, thorough, and self-driven. You have good teamwork skills and work well in groups. You are positive and solution-oriented. To thrive in this position, you should be comfortable following routines, able to take in instructions, and capable of learning new technology. A B driver's license is a requirement. About the Employment Salary according to local agreement with GS union. Full-time position with 6 months probation. To ensure a safe and secure work environment, alcohol and drug testing may be included as part of the recruitment process. NOTE! Tests are conducted through breath tests/screening and not blood tests. The alcohol test only concerns impairment at the time of testing. PEth testing is not used.
