About the position
We at Outokumpu in Degerfors are seeking a shift electrician for our electrical maintenance team. In this role, you work in a dynamic environment where safety is always the top priority. You will collaborate closely with mechanics and automation technicians to handle urgent machine breakdowns as well as plan and perform preventive maintenance.
As an electrician with us, you get the opportunity to work with advanced technology and challenging tasks that develop both your skills and technical understanding. The role also includes administration, supplier contacts, and independent planning of your workday, which provides flexibility and the opportunity to contribute to improvements in our processes.
The position is full-time and involves continuous 5-shift rotation.
Your responsibilities
• Troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of Outokumpu's electrical equipment
• Development of electrical maintenance to ensure a reliable production facility
• Active participation in the company's safety initiatives to create a safe working environment
• Contribute to improvement projects both individually and in teams.
• Assist various departments with preventive and corrective maintenance work.
• Use of our maintenance system Maximo
Your profile
• High school diploma in electrical, industrial, automation or equivalent
• Structured and responsible with strong drive
• Proactive and solution-oriented
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Good computer skills and advantageous to have good knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
• Advantageous to have experience with troubleshooting, PLC knowledge, or process understanding within furnace technology.
• Advantageous to have experience working with maintenance and maintenance systems for machinery equipment and electrical systems.
