Ski Instructor

Hassela Ski Resort is a winter sports and conference facility in northern Hälsingland. Our guests are largely families with children, but also campers, day visitors from the surrounding area, and other groups visit our facility. With us, the guest is at the center, and our goal is to always create stays that exceed expectations and create memorable moments in the snow. Hassela Ski Resort offers varied skiing with 20 slopes and 8 lifts. Groomed cross-country trails are available in 2.5 km, 4 km, and 8 km distances. The facility consists of both a hotel and cottage village with a total of nearly 1,000 beds. The facility also includes conference rooms, a bathing facility, winter camping, bars, restaurants, ski rentals, and a ski shop. We are looking for someone who loves snow and is passionate about sharing the joy of skiing with our guests. Perhaps you have previously worked as a ski instructor, and it's a plus if you have ski instructor/snowboard training from before. You are equally comfortable on skis on the slopes as you are in regular shoes, and you have the patience of a saint. You have an interest in service and understand the importance of always delivering a quality experience to our guests. We see it as a plus if you have: - Previous experience from ski school/events - Experience from pedagogical work and/or working with children - Ski instructor training from SLAO, Friluftsfrämjande, or equivalent As a person, you are social and outgoing. You are the face of the facility to the outside world and work constantly with the guest in focus. We believe you are pedagogically inclined, social, and creative, and enjoy a lifestyle where no two days are the same. You are not afraid to work hard when needed and have a ready laugh. Were you born on skis and think you're the right person for the job but lack formal training? We place great importance on personal qualities, and if you are the right person, training can be provided. Job Duties As a ski instructor, you will work with both group and private lessons. Our guests range from beginners to advanced skiers of all ages, both children and adults. The work includes: - Planning and conducting ski and/or snowboard lessons - Ski school events - Conference events - Children's activities with our mascot Benny the Beaver - Other work within the ski school, such as maintenance of children's areas and activity materials, planning and preparation of upcoming activities, etc.
