Welcome to us Are you an experienced teaching assistant with experience and knowledge of adapted primary education? Do you want to be part of developing a newly started and growing operation? At the start of the school year in August 2026, we opened an adapted primary school. Here we will have space for 30 students in grades F-6. Today we have eight students in the operation and it's growing. We are therefore looking for skilled teaching assistants who want to help create a safe and positive operation. Welcome to apply! Our work aims to help students, as far as possible and based on their own prerequisites, develop in accordance with educational goals. Your role As a teaching assistant in adapted primary school, you support students in all teaching moments during the school day and leisure activities as well as with basic needs such as meals and hygiene. The work requires that you have patience and can adapt your communication and approach based on the situation, and that you can work independently and take own initiative. You are an important link in the team around the students to ensure their safety, well-being, and development both socially and academically. Your competence and experience You have extensive experience working in adapted primary school with a focus on lower and middle grade students. You are accustomed to working with students in Subjects and Subject Areas. You are driven, engaged, and enjoy collaborating around students in need of special support, and have good competence regarding intellectual and neuropsychiatric disabilities. You have good knowledge of AAC such as TAKK, digital communication aids like TDSnap, picture-supported communication, and other forms of visual support. You are naturally positive and meet students, guardians, and colleagues with competence and warmth. A secure and stable personality is necessary, as is good physical health that can handle rapid changes, and you can support students with significant care needs regarding, for example, meals and hygiene when needed. You are professional, have good judgment, and can set boundaries. You are empathetic and have a calm, low-key approach. You have a good ability to express yourself in Swedish in both speech and writing. We place great emphasis on personal suitability and maturity. Interviews will be conducted on an ongoing basis.
