You & Us & The Job
As a van driver at PostNord, you're invaluable. You find the way and your job is a journey toward climate-neutral cargo transport. Transportation is a must to reach all of Sweden and we take responsibility from south to north, from countryside to big city. We work purposefully to reduce our environmental impact and you'll be an important part of this by, among other things, receiving training in fuel-efficient driving. Together we're working to become fossil-free by 2030.
This position is a fixed-term employment with 100% employment rate. Employment starts week 45 or 46 and runs through week 2 and 4.
Your working hours are during daytime, Monday to Friday. You'll be based at Pustgatan 5, Uppsala. Opportunity for extension in the form of extra work.
What You'll Do
Loading, picking up, and distributing packages.
Meeting our customers where they are. Whether they're partners, private customers, or business customers.
Who You Are
Curious and self-driven: You'll do much of the work alone, but teamwork is important.
Patient & calm: Life on the road is a mix of calm and stress. You keep your balance.
Organized: Smart packing (think puzzle), preparation, and delivery are key words. So are order and punctuality. Our customers should be able to count on you and their shipments arriving on time.
In good physical condition: Yes, you're sitting during driving, but you need to be able to lift during pickups and deliveries. For this, you need good strength and mobility.
Adaptable: Unplanned things require flexibility.
Customer-focused: Customer relationships need the right attitude and feeling.
You're unique: We place great importance on your personal qualities.
What You Bring
High school diploma, or currently in your final year of high school
Class B driver's license and experience driving a car
Swedish, spoken and written
Good customer service and communication skills
Positive attitude and an ability to find solutions
