With us, you have the opportunity to investigate everything from tropical diseases to sepsis and wound care. Patients are of all ages with varying underlying conditions. What they all have in common is that they have or are suspected of having an infection that requires acute medical care.
We often perform advanced acute care, which means you become very broad in your professional knowledge and get the opportunity to use your entire range of competencies. Here you get a broad and solid foundation as a nurse, whether you are newly qualified or already have professional experience. We encourage competency development through continuous improvement work and your own responsibility to influence how the department operates.
We use a wish schedule that is then coordinated based on the department's needs.

WORK TASKS
In the department, we work in teams with nurses, nursing assistants, and doctors in patient care.
We have a nursing team with high ambitions, a nursing assistant team with high competence, a stable and excellent doctor team, and a wonderful team atmosphere.
The Infectious Diseases Department has 17 care beds, of which 15 are single rooms with airlocks and isolation capability. Ten rooms also have access from an external corridor, if needed.
The position involves shift work covering days, evenings, and nights. A wish schedule for 10 weeks is created before each new schedule period. Your introduction at the workplace is adapted based on your experience, but typically at least 4 weeks of orientation is provided with a designated mentor.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you who are a Licensed Nurse. You have a positive attitude and enjoy working in a team but also taking independent responsibility and initiative when needed. You have an interest in infectious diseases, and it is meritorious if you have experience working in a department.
Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
