JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As a nurse in a senior living facility, no two days are alike. The pace varies and the days are filled with meaningful human interactions. We strive to regularly step back from our daily work and think about what we want to achieve in the longer term. Your work consists largely of conducting assessments of patients' health status and deciding on healthcare interventions, implementing medical orders, and following up on measures taken. You are responsible for nursing care for a number of patients living in the municipality's special housing facilities for seniors. We work closely with relatives and staff to make a difference in the patient's daily life. You conduct regular visits to your patients to create continuity in interactions with patients and healthcare personnel. When necessary, you collaborate with paramedics or consult the patient's responsible physician. An important part of your work is also to support, guide, and delegate care staff. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who: • is a licensed nurse • holds a B-category driver's license It is advantageous if you have: • previous professional experience as a licensed nurse • advanced education, for example in elderly care, Silvia nursing, or other education within dementia diseases • experience working in municipal healthcare To succeed in this role, we see that you have the ability to work independently and actively drive your own work, from planning to implementation and follow-up.
